      I have called North Carolina my home for twenty five years. I love this wonderful area and am dedicated to preserving its natural beauty while taking advantage of the wonderful views! I am currently located in Franklin NC, working on a historic home preservation project. As members of Preservation North Carolina, I am a proud steward of this amazing property.

     I started the American Woodlands Design Studio 20 years ago, offering unparalleled custom design services to commercial and residential projects across the Carolinas. As one of the last remaining table top “Project Architects” in the area, I take pride in my ability to create custom designs that are meaningful to each client, and enjoy following each project from the initial design stage through revisions to the final production of construction documents.

     My background in Construction Management enables me to produce premium full -plan documents that are budget friendly and build ready, ....my projects get built!

     This site is a compilation of the custom homes I have designed over the years that are available as stock home plans that can be revised to accommodate different elevations and environments.      The aesthetic of my design can be described as a unique blend of the Arts and Crafts movement with a modern mountain flair, with plans ranging from the grandeur of the exquisite mountainside estate homes to the grace and elegance of the well-appointed woodland homes. The colonial and cape cod editions are inspired from my time spent working on the coast of North Carolina.
